Yeah I mean in that scenario it's basically professional football, but college football being just 30 teams is boring as freak and interest will suffer IMO.
doesn't mean just 30 or so teams will play. It's just that the rest will play something more like college ball than pro. Holy Cross vs UConn will still happen, and alumni will tailgate. It'll just end the farce that Appy State is competing for the same thing that Michigan is (even though I think Appy State beat Michigan when they did play).
