Wore a Redskins coat to their stadium, though it was Virginia Tech against Temple. Got some comments on the concourse, but that was it. It wasn’t a matter of let’s see what I can start up; that was the coat I wanted, and accounted for potential back-and-forth.
Having been to Yankees-Red Sox games in person in both venues, there could be less back-and-forth that some might think after people have spent a hefty chunk of change for the game. That again, stupid stuff can erupt at the drop of a hat.
The way things are going, anytime you go to one of these events, people would do well to factor in the clown factor in how much of that do you want to entertain, having presumably paid a decent chunk of money for what purports to be an exercise in entertainment. Public safety outside of the stadium seems to be vying for its place in the clown show nowadays.

Temple is my alma mater and VT is my son’s. A shame they don’t play anymore.
I’ve thought about going to the VT at Florida State game this year but doubt the missus will want to go. Son is coming for a visit but unfortunately a few weeks after that game.
