Al Michaels said this game is so bad it’s good. And now OT!

Hot take:  Colts should have kept Wentz. Ryan is cooked.
Talk among yourselves.  Here's a topic: 2022 Ryan = 2022 Nelson Cruz.

I say that as a big Matty Ice fan since his days leading BC to ACC championship games (didn't beat Va Tech).

Nah. Colts got half the cap hit and will end up with a high second rounder

If the skins had any GM, they'd cut Wentz before he was in a position to get 70% of the snaps and keep the second round pick

My son was at that Thursday night game in Blacksburg where he led the late comeback in the rain.

Fair enough. Forgot about that.

Russell Wilson has been my go-to QB in fantasy for the last five years and I have him on one of my teams this year. I'm hoping he turns it around, he has been Mr. Consistency in this league for a long time but man did he look awful last night. That INT into the end-zone in the 4Q was not only a horrible play call when they only needed to run and kick a FG, but it was a horrible throw.

Anytime a team is happy for their franchise qb to walk, there is a good chance that they’re washed.

I know.  When Cam Newton and Brian Hoyer are considered adequate replacements, it tells you something about the guy they didn't bring back.

He may be the one exception. Even Manning winning in Denver looked horrible doing it

Yeah, and Geno Smith has been lights-out so far. Unfortunately my backup is Winston, and it's a 12 team league so available alternatives include Matt Ryan and Daniel Jones. Zach Wilson is available but the Jets have a really tough stretch coming up.

do you realize how odd the phrase "Geno Smith has been lights-out" is?

If you watched last nights broncos-colts game you may be entitled to financial compensation. Contact the law firm of jacoby and myers.

ESPN has a nice E:60 or 30 for 30 on Drew Bledsoe.  Apparently his wine is one of the better Cabs in the world.  Properly speaking, Gillette should be referred to as "The House that Drew Built."  As they acknowledge, he took probably the worst franchise in the NFL and made it respectable.  He led the core around Brady at the start of his career when he was "game manager."

Indeed. Shame that the scheduling won't give us Chiefs v Iggles this season - unless they both go all the way... :woop:

After decades of toil and mediocrity, from the Chiefs, we're just enjoying Mahomes while it lasts!!!.... ;)

It feels like the old guy hall of fame QBs (Brady, Wilson, Rogers) are all fading at once. I can’t remember that ever happening in a single season

All of a sudden the NFC East is a juggernaut. Well except for one team.

Halfsmokes and I tried to tell ya on page 1 of this thread. :P His ability to see the field is just so sporadic at this point.  Apparently it's now come out that he was playing injured, but that doesn't explain this:

https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1578231422451687424?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1578231422451687424%7Ctwgr%5E8a5d4218d4bfd683fa0de39f97d80b9b358ab819%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.si.com%2Fnfl%2Fbroncos%2Fnews%2Fkj-hamler-frustrated-russell-wilson-colts-overtime

This is becoming more and more common with him.  A lot of Seahawks die-hards--some of whom study film way more than I ever could bother to do--have been noticing a lot of plays like this over the past couple years.

Mahomes is now 11-9 in games in which the Chiefs have trailed by 10 or more points.
