Mike Elias succeeded Dan Duquette in 2019.  Duquette deserves a bit of credit for this team, taking Anthony Santander in the Rule 5 draft in 2017, drafting Trey Mancini, John Means, Cedric Mullins, Austin Hays, Ryan Mountcastle, maybe some other moves in the build, but Elias drafted Rutschman, filled in the infield with short term pickups, and pulled together a decent staff out of mostly misfits from other organizations.  Jorge Lopez is a failed starter / stud reliever from 2 other systems. Voth is now starting, 5 games, 3.50 ERA, and they're building him back up to handle more innings (up to 4 & 5 his last 2 starts). Tyler Wells is another pickup, Jordan Lyles was a cheap free agent.
