In addition to Andry Lara, the Nationals also signed a young outfielder names Roismar Quintana. Quintana came stateside for the fall instructional league and impressed the Nationals organization with his bat and glove. He is highly athletic and generates good power for his size. His bat speed is solid, and while the home run power has yet to take off, there is definitely room for him to grow into it. Quintana has a very advanced approach at the plate for his age, and he should only continue to improve. The power will likely come as he matures and adds strength to his frame. Roismar Quintana is the perfect example of a player who can make a big jump up the Washington Nationals top prospects list.

He’s only played 3 games this year. Hang played in a month. Any word on what his injury is?

Anyone know what’s going on with this guy? I like him a lot but he hasn’t been playing. Milb.com lists him as active but he hasn’t played in 6 weeks

Only 19 and could end up in Fredericksburg this summer after a few guys move up.

Hit his 4th HR yesterday in the FCL. .326/.378/.488 while playing RF.

I would love to see him and Cruz get a taste of Fredericksburg before the end of the season, that's definitely where they'll start next year.

In F-burg, over 256 PAs this year, he hit .250 / .348 / .364. Power has not shown up, but he's kept Ks down (20%) and BBs up (12%). 21years old.

A lot of the moves this week are because the FCL is done so they need to find homes for prospects.

Saw him today with the FredNats in Salem. He needs to move up if they view him as any more than filler. He hits the ball hard but played 1B and left mid-game. They list him at 175, which is a good 50 pounds short. Baseball is hard when you're fat.

6th year in the minors and playing at low-A. He's filler at this point.
