You forgot about 60 major leaguers, including Sam McDowell and Doug Davis both of whom had higher WARs than Cecil Fielder.
I didn't forget. I just omitted to mention them. Actually, the only other one on the MLB birthday list I was familiar with was Scott Spiezio.

It is also the 130th anniversary of the birth of Royal Saxon Army aviator Max Immelmann (1890-1916), the Eagle of Lille, familiar to me as a military historian, and familiar to friends of mine who are gamers due to the Immelmann maneuver. From various other fields of endeavor, you also have H.G. Wells, Gustav Holst ("The Planets"), Kwame Nkrumah, cartoonist Chuck Jones, Larry "J.R. Ewing" Hagman, etc. And for a Nats connection, John McHale, first president of the Expos. I'd also mention Henry Gibson, but I hate Illinois Nazis.
