Canceling the game tomorrow is weird to me, I mean the day it happened? That I would understand, but canceling one game two days later when the fans of the Lakers and Kobe pretty much WANT an outlet to wrap their sorrow in? I don’t get the rationale.
They are doing out of respect for the family. His wife has not made a statement yet and the Lakers are waiting on her. I think a few days of mourning are ok for the team and fans. With the recovery effort slow it might be a while before his funeral.
