Very difficult to say because there could be a few teams that skew the ERAs of these pitchers up, ie maybe without playing LA and Atlanta their ERAs would be closer to what they are against the Nats.  But I think it’s reasonable to say that at very best we are in the middle in that regard, possibly below average.  When I get the time I’ll do the same for all the playoff teams, I’m curious. 

My point is that this team having hitting and scoring problems in the playoffs was inevitable.  You better have incredible starting and relief pitching to succeed in this context.
