Max replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the clubhouse during the players only meeting, and it was completely calm.

I got all goose bumply when I saw Max snarlin'.     Then I saw Gio's actually the starter.    Don't matter.    We got it.   The young and new guys carried us last night ...  It's Hawpah, Rendon and Murph's turns tonight.

Gio has to step up. The entire team needs to step up.

It's in the hands of the players. I can't spend $400 every home game to bring my wife, it's too hot for the pregnant wife. NatNasty can't cook steaks every night.

This train can't break down. It will have many conductors tho.

Looks like I gotta relight the candles tonight.     :rites:

Remember the Reset. Have faith.

A full reset would be getting rid of useless data . . .  Like Gio Gonzalez.

Assuming he does anything useful this season only gets him a spot on the mound in the post-season where he'll crap himself on the mound.  Again.

Last night was great but they won't win consistently until Harper and Murphy start hitting. The Nats can't have two in the middle of the order not contributing and getting nothing from 8 and 9 and score.

Those are the two players that need to get going for this to turn around. Then there's the starting pitching.

I would think our Nationals need to win 7 of the next 10 games. I know they will.

Kudos to you for never giving up the faith even 9 runs down last night. I'm not in the win 7 of 10 camp though. It sounds too much like a hitter trying to hit 3 home runs in one at bat to get out of a slump. I say win one tonight, then after that try to win one the next night. Old cliché, win one at a time type of thing.

Just win tonight and win the series. Then win the next series.

I hope Adams doesn't go into a prolonged slump now. :stir:
