You'd have to eat a decent amount of that salary to move Wieters. I don't think they'd do that. It *shouldn't* prevent them from making a move for Realmuto if they can pull it off. The Marlins are probably the only team that it might even be possible.
Wieters, a good prospect, a mid level prospect, lots of cash for Realmuto, perhaps? That might not move the needle or it might be too much...IDK.
Would that cash count towards the luxury tax threshold?
