With my first official pronouncement/opinion, let me go on record by stating that I firmly believe this team will never go anywhere as long as Dusty Baker is running the show on the field.  He's basically Mike Soscia with a more talented team.

I'm also a member of The Hogs Net, where typing "HTTR" automatically translates to "Hail to the Redskins". I despise Dan Snyder as much as I despised George Preston Marshall, but I can't resist the fight-song.

Back in 1971, when Bob Short-ed Washington, weird George Allen announced that the Redskins would go to the playoffs to compensate for  Short's insult to the Nation's Capital. People thought Allen was crazy -- the Skins had not been to the playoffs since about 1945 -- but they were the NFC wild-card team. After that, as best I remember, the Redskins owned Washington.
