42 home runs puts Bryce even with Roy Sievers, 1957, the first Washington player to lead the league in home runs. Also even with Harmon Killebrew in 1959, which was the break-through season for Harmon: not a mistake, not a bonus-baby-bust, never going back to the minors, headed toward the hall of Fame, we thought.
