weather.com calling for 57 degrees, cloudy, wind from the WNW at 18 per, no rain - and staying pretty much that way through match time.

Game 16: Cardinals at Nats
By Mark Zuckerman and Chase Hughes
Apr 23, 2015, 12:34 PM EDT
Mark Zuckerman / NATS INSIDER Mark Zuckerman / NATS INSIDER
http://natsinsider.com/2015/04/23/game-16-cardinals-at-nats-2/

The final game of this series features the best pitching matchup of the three: Max Scherzer vs. Michael Wacha. Scherzer, the St. Louis native, has been outstanding so far in his D.C. tenure, with an NL-leading 0.83 ERA in his first three starts. Wacha, meanwhile, has a 1.35 ERA so far and came within one out of no-hitting the Nats back in Sept. 2013.

Couple of changes to Matt Williams’ lineup, with both Jayson Werth and Wilson Ramos getting the day off. So it’ll be Clint Robinson in left field batting fifth, with Jose Lobaton behind the plate batting eighth.

It’s a chilly, windy afternoon here on South Capitol Street, so if you’re coming out to the park, be sure to bring layers!

Nah...we're tucked up under cover in 212 somewhere near the top of the section...warming up in the N&S Club right now...

Not as bad as April 9th, but chilly nonetheless...

Hey FP,

Give a shout out to kimnat who's at the game today.   I know you've read about her adventure in other WNFF threads.

Thanks,

I love 4 o'clock games. I'm sure the players hate the shadows, but c'est la guerre.

Shadows grow so long before my eyes
And they're moving across the page
Suddenly the day turns into night
 Far away from the city

I used to have hair like that.  Actually, closer to Lindsey Buckingham on Rumours.

Anyone remember that game against the fish where Mike O'Connor had a dinger hit right off of his first pitch?

I'd come down the line from 3rd and make Zimmerman throw me out at home.
