What's for Lunch?
« Topic Start: November 05, 2007, 12:29:36 PM »
I went to the little Cafe in the building where I work now, and got a Ham, Egg and Cheese Bagel with Cream Cheese, and a Dong Suh Minsok Tea(a very nice Korean Tea.).

I popped a Stouffer's Lasagna Alfredo in the microwave and had that for lunch, with a half cup of coffee (I've been drinking too much caffeine of late)

I'm thinking about a bowl of chili that I made recently.  Kids are eating sandwiches or leftovers.

I had the last of the chile-egg casserole that I made last night. For dessert, a sorghum-raisin bar, also left over from yesterday.

I had one of those Stouffer's lean cuisine flatbread pizzas. Mondays are always pretty virtuous to make up for my weekend mishavior. I also got my butt beat in a Bodyflow class (yoga/tai chai/pilates combination).

My neighbor and I just got back from lunch.  She had the rotisserie chicken and a glass of wine, and I had a pulled pork sandwich and an Amstel

Well what Erica's having sure beats the boring Ham and Turkey Sandwich on Multigrain with Fritos and a Diet Coke.

The only completely civilized lunch on the list.

i was near philadelphia, so their crappy cafeteria version was still good compared to most of the stuff you get around here

I get my kids to eat it by cooking it in muffin cups!  I call them Bitty Bites.  They love them!  Andrew devours them!  Serve w/ broccoli and mashed potatoes and they think it's a feast!  My kids aren't typical when it comes to veggies.  They love asparagus, broccoli, spinach, corn and raw carrots.  They will barely touch string beans and peas.  Well, Elisa will eat the beans, but not easily.  Oh and Andrew loves Lima Beans w/ me!

As someone (Bismarck??) said, laws and sausages are fine, just don't ask how they're made...same goes for meatloaf.
