Jayson Werth is 35 and the highest paid player on the team. He's always been so clutch in playoffs, for us and others... until this year. After a long season, maybe his age has finally caught up with him. He knows that baseball skills drop off sharply for players in that age range. The Nationals are a young team, unlike the Phillies and Barves.
Werth is married and has 2 kids. He'd make a good manager some day. I wanted to see him in the World Series this year.
