Braves should have wussy Riot do a performance art rendition of the US and Ukranian national anthems.  That would go over big in Georgia (our Georgia, not PUTIN!'s neighbors and practice pitch)

This game is meaningless.  Whether the nats win or lose, they again failed miserably to change the tone of the head to head matchup w/the barves.  The barves walk away with yet another series win, and that's what matters.

Looked fine there last Sunday.

Frandsen is looking like a quality signing.

Frandsen to LF, Harper to CF.

Stuck inside on a gorgeous day with a sinus infection...the Nats really need to bring it or today will be the most miserable day ever.

on this day in 1963 Pete Rose tripled for his first major league hit.
on this day in 1984 Pete Rose became the first National leaguer to get 4,000 hits in a career.

At Caesars Palace in Vegas there is a sports memorabilia store...they have a Pete Rose signed baseball with the quote "I'm sorry I bet on baseball".  LOL.

No games are meaningless. And if you won't to talk about "tone", if they win this game tonight they will be back in the division lead. We also want to avoid a sweep. It's unfortunate that we have lost the second series against the Braves this season, but there are plenty of games left against them.

Every game means something until we are mathematically eliminated from post season...which better not happen...lol

Very defeatist attitude. What if the Nats win today and sweep in June? Then we're up in the season series. Not to mention that mathematically every game counts just like every other one.

The Nats are clearly pressing against this team, making stupid mistakes. The Braves are taking very few chances and playing conservative baseball. The Nats need to stop pressing.

Not defeatist, just realistic.  Series wins are what matters.
