Span is tradeable as soon as Goodwin is ready or there is some other upgrade. That contract is moveable now. he's only due $7MM after this year, counting the buy out, and is due less than $3MM for the rest of this year. Even if you think he is only an AL #9 hitter right now, he's worth that kind of money.
