Shanahan didn't need to ask RG3 how he felt at halftime. Everyone watching this game could see that he was ineffective. Shanhan made a reference in the post game interview about having "learned something today" about that for the future. Hopefully, he learned that RG3 cannot be trusted on this matter. While RG3 has been a model in press conferences,
he would rather lose the game, playing hurt, than for the team to win after he's been removed, because he is ineffective.
