He probably still needs to get his shoulder cleaned up after the season. He may be trying to make adjustments on the fly when he throws the ball overhand. I know it's been an on-going problem - seems particularly so this year since the shoulder stuff.
We should see what happens in the off season.

But I've been spoiled by the way Zimmerman makes acrobatic plays...and hits the game-winning home run on Wednesday.
Saw a Harrisburg 3B, Sean Nicol, stare at a ground ball, and realized I expected to see a Nats 3B dive and make that play. Nicol didn't move. Yes, we just expect the Zimmerman diving stops.
