It's recovering from the surgery. They shut down Zimmermann last year. I expect they will shut Strassburg this year. I also think this team can win the pennant. Strassburg will pitch long enough to win the division, and when he's stops in early /mid-September, the team will have Detwiler as number 4 and Lannan -- that guy -- as number 5 starter. Gio + Zimmermann + Jackson + Detwiler make a good post-season rotation. Storen will return in a few weeks, so the relief pitching will be fine. Werth will be back. Then it's all down to the hitting, and luck.
DeRosa will be gone. The hitting / position questions might even be good ones: finding spots for Chad Tracy, Lombo, Moore, maybe Marrero and Bernadina. And Ankiel: is his defense enough by itself?
