My only concern would be what it would do to the clubhouse. Right now the team has a really good vibe with each other and moving a highly liked player could cause some sad feelings.
I know that "veteran presence" and "good in the clubhouse" comments get scoffed at on here, and often for good reason, but I've had this on my mind lately as well.
