He does give up a bunch of solo homers - I guess that's one negative critique. But I like a guy who's aggressive and goes after hitters with a lead.
His HR/FB is around league average IIRC (maybe a little lower even). I guess he probably gives up more solo homers than most other pitchers because he doesn't let a lot of people on base.
