I'm watching the Rays-Marlins game and it's in the 14th inning. The FOX announcer just talked about the umpires, specifically the home plate umpire, standing out there for all of these innings and not sitting down for an of the half innings. That's another reason for Timmons to call Moore safe, to END THE DAMN GAME! The game could have ended in 9 innings instead of 14. But, I guess, a 9 inning game where Moore is called safe doesn't have an envelope stuffed with Steinbrenner cash at the end of it.
