Being in the stands today was brutal. For those who say the stands were mostly red, well let me tell you I felt like I was at Yankee Stadium. Truly embarrassing. I'm not from DC and drove from out of state for this game, but to see the Yankees absolutely take over our park was really shocking. I'm not calling out the locals, but wow it was just something that you rarely see where the visiting team had an advantage in the home teams park.
Also, I too knew that when Lidge came in the game was over. I would've went with Gonzalez regardless of lefty/righty matchups. However the Yankees are a REALLY good team, and you can't give really good teams extra outs, and they did what really good teams do...they capitalized on those.
Let's get a Curly W tomorrow and move on.
