It's first time I heard about it (which doesn't mean much  :) ).   It was an interesting thing for Wood to mention.   He talked about the player reps having to check with their teams and getting with  management to determine a time that was "good" for everyone.    He said Sunday and Monday were probably ruled out because they're part of the "get away" portion of the series.

Assuming the August consensus proves right, I think we're looking at a twi-nighter on the 20th, 21st or 22nd (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday respectively). The Nats have three open dates in August - Thursday 16th. Thursday 23rd and Friday 27th - however, the Braves are playing all three of these days (in fact they're on the West Coast on the latter two dates).

I'm a bit surprised they weren't looking at re-scheduling to the other Braves visit, a weekend series in July (20th-21st-22nd), if only from the standpoint of easier scheduling, except that one drawback there would be that it'll probably be hot as Abu Dhabi outside that Saturday, and people may not want to attend a twin-bill under such conditions.
