Pelfrey has at most an inning left at him. He's now at 90 pitches.

Werth missing that high slider... Dammit.

Still horsecrap and nothing will change my mind on how upset I am at the crappy umps this game.

I couldn't agree more. Games like this just boil my blood. Makes it impossible to enjoy baseball as a fan. It's impossibly pathetic officiating. Totally unacceptable.

Nice slider. As long as he buries it he's fine. It's just when he leaves it hanging

I wish Jackson would use that slower fastball and paint a bit.

Too bad this guy is dead...but he still might be a better umpire than tonight's home plate ump could ever hope to be...

If EJ gives up 2 or 3 more will that ease your mind? He's not on tonight.

He's not doing terrible. He had a strike out before that 2 run shot. It seems these crap calls always destroys our pitchers morale.

The ump sucks, yes, but you would think the guys at the plate would have realized it a couple of plate appearances ago, especially Werthless.

LOL get serious. This ump has NO CLUE where his strike zone is. It changes from pitch to pitch. It's impossible to adjust. That strike 2 call to Werth wasn't even close. You'd be screaming at him if he swung at that pitch. The umpire is pathetic.

I already said he was pathetic. So is standing at the plate expecting to get a call when the ump has no idea what he's doing.

I can't wait to see how MLB reacts when they somehow end up with an ump like this in the one-game wildcard playoff.  It's bound to happen someday.
