Lile running drills and expected to be ready for opening day (harrisburg i'd guess?)

I have Young , Call and Wood to Rochester. That would leave Crews, Hassell and Pickney for H'burg? Lile back at Wilmington?

Edit - I'm putting the link to the MLB.com injury and roster moves page into every 1st post of pages of this thread so you can find full info easily.

oh you have to be kidding me. Going back to Cinci, chance to start at his real position, then he breaks a thumb ? Was it in BP or in the Nats Future Game? I'm assuming the former.

the Strasburg 60 day IL opens a spot so either is possible. I wonder if they had an idea coming into today.

So, what do we wager that Senzel ever actually returns?

The Lerners are paying him.  They will want to get something out of it.

They can do what there were noises they wanted to do with Strasburg and make him a coach or something to fulfill his contract. Maybe Gallo can be a weight trainer. Maybe they can take the player as invested commodity idea to its fullest extent, and have them help do prep work on gallery place for Leonsis.

Along those lines, maybe they can give guided tours at the park, take turns being some of the racing presidents, and so forth. If they really wanted to get people down to the ballpark and get their moneys worth, maybe they can actually be living hands of the former giant curly W clock. There are so many possibilities to get something out of it while not having to worry about working them into the lineup.

I'm not saying he will be released......yet. I'm wondering how long he stays on the IL and if he ultimately makes it back to play in the bigs AT ALL this season.

I will guess it's at least 3 weeks before he can grip a bat. It's a broken bone.

Senzel can play multiple positions, as can Lipscomb. I suspect that when he's healthy he'll get a shot. there's going to be disappointments on this roster. They will give Senzel a shot at replacing them.

For Lipscomb, it's a chance to stick.

Senzel will get starts when he comes back. By then either Garcia or Lipscomb will need to be sent down

or they will be wanting a righty bat in the LF mix.

Winker and Weems apparently came down with a stomach bug today. Davey said “at least he held it” in reference to Winker getting through the first.
