Stan Kasten with his usual snake oil sales pitch.

He and Carpenter were talking about how they were "3 outs away from a 3-game winning streak."

YOU'RE 1-10, YOU freakING MORONS!  CELEBRATE NOTHING!

why haven't those morons called the game off yet? sheesh. I guess they want to make everyone go to the game in the soaking rain first and buy concessions and then call it off? :?

Carpenter said that, and of course Stan went into his sales pitch and elaborated as if it really were any sort of positive.

Nevermind the fact that they started the season 0-7 and a winning streak would still leave them as one of the worst teams in baseball. :?

I can walk to the park in less than 20 minutes. It hasn't rained here since before noon, and the forecast doesn't foreshadow a downpour (15% chance of showers).

It's always 4:20 somewhere.

That's not factually accurate.

At this point...a rainout is just as good as a win.

That's not factually accurate.

If you're participating in 4:20 activities, you won't care if it's accurate or not.

Screech was using that on Sunday, driving around firing T-Shirts into the crowd while on the move.

good god everyone is crapting on the nats.  espn's sportscenter just had a news update saying ryan zimmerman signed a long-term extensions, the club is bringing up top prospect jordan zimmermann and that they better get their names right on the jerseys after this past weekend's debacle.

thanks lerner family for driving this franchise to this low of a point.
