they showed up at each other's shows at Shea a few years ago. At the "last play at shea" concert, McCartney flew from the UK and thanks to a police escort, got there just in time to play two songs before the show ended.

It'd be nice if they'd say how much the tickets cost.

Regarding guests, McCartney joined Springsteen on stage in London last year and the promoter cut off the performance due to a local curfew, but don't expect Springsteen to show up in DC—he plays in Rome on July 11 and in Belgium on July 13.

He is one of the best preserved of the rock & roll fossils.  Roger Daltry on the other hand sounds like he's been gargling with Drano.

Ozzy's vocals haven't changed much but then again, he's never been known for his range :lol:

Ditto Lemmy.  His roar has just gotten more gravelly. 

I guess Halford could be considered a fossil by now, and he's still got range.
