poor Batting Average aside, I'd rather see Harris start at 2nd everyday at this point.

why? because Harris is just as bad as Felipe with the bat, except that Harris plays like he actually gives a freak.

True :?

I agree, but Willie is a major league hitter, and Flop isn't.  Willie has excellent speed as well, and is a great teammate and locker room guy.

yeah, but as an official stat, you can't have it different in both leagues.  the standard needs to be the same, I think.

Depends on the intent. You can have the difference and use the home team's ballpark, during interleague, to determine which to use because of the DH rule. But that stat is about salary negotiations.

End this Bernandina experiment.  Please tell me Colome isn't coming in.

I disagree with this. Harris is a super-sub at best, imo.

But in our specific situation, I think he should be starting every day over Lopez, for the reasons I gave, until Zimmerman comes back.  then Pimp Juice can slide over to 2nd.

It wasn't a pitch out. The count was full. But the pitch was shoulder high.

I think that either way, it should be 7 innings, and not 6 for a quality start.  my reasoning is that 7 innings leads you into the fairly simple situation of Set-Up Man in the 8th, Closer in the 9th. which gives you the best chance to win.

Game over.  What are the odds Colome shuts them down?

Lopez really screwed up any potential that inning had. WE could've had runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out if BerNOTina had bunted them over with Guzman at the plate. That cost us at least one run.

I wouldn't mind a quality start equally either 7 innings and 3 runs or 6 innings and 2 runs.

If we were in Vegas, I wouldn't bet on it.

IMO, 6 IP 2 ER in the NL or 7 IP 3 ER in the AL.
