They got Lillard and exchanged him in the lineup for Holiday.  And now they are surprised their defense got worse.  One of the worst defensive players in basketball for none of the best.

A .698 winning percentage might play in Minnesota or Oklahoma City, but this is Milwaukee. The standard is perfection.

That must be it

I think they’re realizing they’re screwed in the playoffs when teams really starting planning for individual opponents. Dame is going to be absolutely hunted on defense.

Yea so what coach are they going to get to help with that? Red Auerbach?  Bill Russell?

They are just going to have to outscore other teams.  Just sit back and enjoy the ride?

I like Doc, but I'm a Celtics fan, where he won. I liked him with the Celtics, and I've rooted for him except when we were head to head. I don't know the problem with Griffin and whether Doc can fix it. Seems like a harsh move unless Giannis and the vets were just not respecting him.

The Athletic paints is as an issue with his defense and the players not trusting his schemes

they swapped out a defense first guard for a revolving door, what did they expect?

Again, as a Celtics fan, I'm quite pleased with J'rue. That said, they did beat the Celtics head-to-head, so I would have figured that might have saved Griffin.

I think the Bucks will roll in the regular season, especially with Doc. I think come playoff time when teams can focus on scheming for one opponent, Dame will be an enormous liability.

bigger deals out there, but I'm a little surprised the 76ers dealt with Celtics on the fringe of the roster. Jaden Springer for a 2d round pick. Celts also dealt a fringe guy, Dalano Banton, to the Trailblazers for a protected 2d round pick (protected up to #55).

He is a losing player.  Glad my Mavs didn’t trade for him.  A guy with that basketball IQ will never increase his value

Instead your Mavs picked up Gafford and PJ Washington.  Good luck with that.  Your Mavs are frittering away Luka’s best years.

Both of those guys were picked up for depth without giving up anything of value.

You guys were doomed once you didn’t keep Brunson.  Guy has just gotten better and instead you got weirdo Kyrie.  Luka will be heading out of Dallas as soon as he gets the chance.

Kyrie has gone almost a whole season with no crazy. Maybe he gets to the finish line this year. We all know what the playoffs will look like. Everyone watching Luka try to win every offensive possession, only it’s the playoffs so he doesn’t get the whistle. On defense, the combination of Kyrie and Luka on the floor at the same time doesn’t go as well as it did in the regular season now that teams care about scheming for every game.
