I wouldn’t have much of a problem with not calling interference there if we haven’t been on the other side at least 3-4 times where it was called on us while the runner was mostly on the line.   I get Davey’s frustration.

the photo he starts off with was the kind of evidence you'd love to bring to a judge.  In fairness to Ruiz, if the guy is on the foul side of the line, then Ruiz has a nice throwing lane without moving further into the field. That's the purpose of the rule.

I honestly think Ruiz should have drilled the guy when he was in fair territory. That should force the call.
