The DC Sports Bog reports that Frank Robinson's ceremonial pitch is to be thrown sometime around 12:30. Seems awfully early, but I guess they have the formal player introduction ceremony and the like.

I still remember the 1992 World Series, with Game 1 set to start at 20.00 - but independent presidential candidate Ross Perot went and bought an hour of time on all networks, just before that match - so the telecast start time was moved to 21.00, the first pitch was at 21.40 and the final out was recorded sometime after 01.00...as in big-time US sports generally, it's the telly
