I hate always blaming the pitching...when the offense constantly does nothing! This pitching staff must feel like they need to throw no-hitters every game to have a chance to win...horrible feeling!! Wish we would send down Mclouth and Desmond..let Walters play second and Epsi at short, bring Souza back up because he can't be worse than Span and Mclouth! We need to do something...this division is to competitive this year...we could finish last..if ur a realist about baseball!!

Yeah, they're only 22-15 and leading their division by 2.5 games :?

That was the AL's ERA leader last night. Not to excuse the Nats bats, but that wasn't the scrub we normally can't do anything against.

And his ERA went up after this game.  And Tanner Roark outperformed him.

You can't lose games like this in the 9th inning.  You just can't.

Bailed on the TV in the 5th (FP's startin' to grate on me.)    ...  took a shower (long day on the links) and listened to the game on radio.   Got through the Soriano cutoff   ...   C & D let him have it on the air.    I must have nodded off and that was that.

The Papa John's folks are happy that they are saving a ton of money since the Nats hardly ever score the 7 runs required for half-price pizza.
We play in Arizona next, for 3 games. They've fallen off the cliff this season.

Oakland could make it to the World Series this year.
