So why do they design the padding on the outfield wall to leave a gap just the perfect size to allow the ball to get wedged in it?

Charlie & Dave recalled how this first came up when an Atlanta Barves protest turned an inside the park home run into a ground rule double.  THAT's when the Lerners should have had it fixed!
