The Nationals have clinched a first-place finish to the first half of the season.
How many games they'll be up on the Braves in the National League East is yet to be determined.
The Nationals will face the Phillies on Sunday at 1:35 p.m. ET in their final game before the All-Star break.
Washington, which had its five-game road winning streak snapped with a 1-0 loss to Philadelphia on Saturday, will send starting pitcher Esteban Loaiza (5-5, 3.61 ERA) to the mound. Loaiza will oppose Phillies starter Jon Lieber (8-8, 5.13 ERA).
Loaiza was terrific in his last start against the New York Mets, giving up six hits and one earned run in eight innings.
