Dozier says Strasburg is coming this weekend. Folks are going to need to find something else to get angry about.

Others who are out of baseball and could possibly attend: Strasburg, Anibal Sanchez, Fernando Rodney, Javy Guerra, Matt Adams, Asdrubal Cabrera, Brian Dozier, Kurt Suzuki, and Adam Eaton.
Matt Adams is playing for the Tijuana Bulls, along with Tres Barrera, who played in 2 games in 2019.

Tijuana? I suppose they could make it back over the border pretty easy.

Is he going to be there, or mentor the celebration organizers?

Paging Matt Grace and Trevor Rosenthal, who combined for 63 appearances that season.

He will be there in spirit.  Maybe he will let them borrow his World Series MVP trophy.

i wonder if he still has the car?

Whether he's there or not, we wouldn't be having this celebration if not for him.

Obviously they're having the World Series celebration this weekend is because the Astros are in town but is it rubbing it in a little?

Since 2019 World Series the Astros have won 34 playoff games while the Nats have won 50 (spring training games).

Half a decade out from it, Scherzer is the player from the 2010s Nationals that I think about the most. I think about him almost as much as I think about the Roman Empire. He was a shell of his former self by October 2019 but had some gutsy moments in the postseason. Obviously he can't be there because he is still playing elsewhere.

As lame as it is, they should have a 10 year reunion in 2029 when almost all of these guys will be retired and available and any animosity over the Stras retirement thing will long have faded. This is a town where a World Series win is a once-a-century thing.

Anibal and Eaton are coming.

Schedule so far:

SATURDAY, APRIL 20
20,000 fans will receive a 2019 World Series Replica Ring
Pregame live Q&A panels with 2019 players
2019 World Series hype video in pregame ceremony
Alumni participate in ceremonial first pitch, line-up card delivery, and Play Ball announcement

Anyone seen anything on the timing of the pregame ceremony?

No, and holding the gates until 2:45 PM doesn’t seem to make for great logistics as far as everybody getting to their seats for it

Just got tickets for tomorrow. Not a lot of availability on Seat Geek and prices are much higher than normal. That ring is going to be a big draw.

From the pictures I've seen, it looks really nice. I have one of the All-Star Game rings from 2018 and it was also really well made.

Been scouring ebay and the web for a Kendrick/Eaton pull the clutch bobblehead.   I'd fly in for that.

That's straight up bullcrap.  If he doesn't wanna be a part of the team celebration, then freak him and the horse he rode in on...
I don't hate Stras but I'm in on this sentiment. Yea he gave it all for the team and we will always love him for that, but then didn't he get paid bazillions of dollars to not pitch for us for years, and he knew he couldn't pitch, but he kept collecting? Sorry, the least he could do to earn that is come for a celebration of the greatest time in the Nats history.
