Couple of pop ups too.  I have a feeling he's going to K a lot. That hitch in his swing is garbage.

True. Definitely a couple of popups. They cut back to it to let the viewers listen to how different the ball sounds off the bat. They are so full of crap.

I had no idea I was really a Diamondbacks fan. Let's keep our clowning focused here hoss. :)

You probably meant to say you would strikeout 20 batters.

You see that hitch though, right?  He's going to get eaten alive if he can't get that crap fixed.

What is this crap - MDS has me on ignore?  MDS?  Has me on ignore?  Turrible.

It seemed a bit long but I'm not going to worry about it until it manifests itself during actual AB's.

Just to show you guys how big a deal this is...an impromptu house party has popped up in my neighborhood tonight so we can all watch the Harper debut. About 20 people meeting here and then going on to my next door neighbor's house since he's got the projection system!!!!

Karaoke ?

That's what happened to him in AA... and I suspect the same thing that happened to him in AAA, sadly.

Hes going to get eaten alive by lefties. I hope Werthless has helped his perfect his own strikeout strut.

It's more likely that we (as in our (as in Nationals') pitchers) will strike out 20 than our (as in Nationals') hitters striking out.

We (as in Natinals' hitters) are 15th in strikeouts.  We (as in Nationals' pitchers) are 2nd in strikeouts.

That was another problem in AA I saw as well.

Especially on the breaking balls, mainly whiffs on sliders low and away.

He's going to K a lot like any power hitter.  No big deal if he still gets on base and hits for power when he does connect.

Stuck at the show and I couldn't convince the director to cancel Act III.

Good news is that since I smoothed over a mild argument between my wife and a neighbor, I've been promised "happy fun time" by my wife when I get home.  Not EXACTLY sure what that means, but it sounds good!  Plus Harper's debut?  Sounds like a banner night!

Since I can't watch his debut, I want you guys to post the details!

A post with a somewhat positive slant from PC!

Definitely agree.  He'll struggle with this and look silly at the plate until he figures it out.
