Except for not having real bullpens.

I noticed that today.  I saw a Nats' player "guarding" the bull pen catcher.    I think the Cubs have a similar setup.

They think it adds to the "retro" atmosphere.  :?

Petco Park in San Diego has a similar setup.  The visiting bullpen is along the first base line while the Padres bullpen is behind the LF fence.  I went there last year and it looks kind of goofy.

In 359 AA plate appearances, Lombardozzi has a .295/.363/.467 line with 8 HR, 32 RBI, 17 SB and has never had more than 10 errors in a minor league season.

Antonelli deserves to be with the big club, but Lombo should be on this team's radar THIS SEASON. He has been very consistent his entire minor league career and he has good plate discipline. CALL HIM UP!

Good call. Antonelli needs to be here > Bixler but Lombo seems like a perfect candidate to be given a chance. I like this kid. Where would he project in the lineup? 1-2-7-8?

He'd be a good leadoff man, assuming he could transition to the pros. His minor league numbers indicate, to me, that he'd be a great leadoff man with a .340-.360 OBP and 15-20 SBs a season.

Espinosa.

Last play of the game, he got hit on the hand, ump said he swung (debatable), game over.

Leaves field clutching hand.

anything is better than what the Mets did at Citi, hiding the visiting bullpen so the pitchers can't see anything.
