I wonder who gets DFA'd? Maybe Hellickson to the 60-day?

Fernando Rodney going to be called up. FML. I said that I would drop fandom for this. I won’t. But FML....

Why does Rodney get the call over Bacus?

I don't love it either, but Bacus isn't going anywhere, if Rodney/Venters suck they can get rid of one of them and give the roster spot to Bacus.

One of Rodney/Venters takes Rosenthal's spot. There needs to be another 40-man spot opened up for the other.

If they only need a spot on the 40, Miller to the 60 seems likely.  He got yanked from his rehab assignment and he's already been out more than a month.

True enough, but I'd think we're past the point of high (?) upside reclamation projects and whoever is demonstrably better should get the nod, now.

There are only 38 on the 40 player roster

I know he can't hit worth crap, but at some point we're going to miss his glove in CF. Robles has improved by leaps and bounds, but everyone is just one at bat from a broken wrist.

I mean, if he breaks his wrist, he's probably going on the IL ....

I don't understand the urgency of re-instating Zimm. Why couldn't he take the full 20 days allotted position players to rehab?

Adams is both hitting and fielding capably, which provides all the incentive in the world for Zimmerman to pretend to be healthy again.
