Mock rebounded nicely tonight in Columbus and picked up the win. 7.2 IP 7 H 4 R 3 ER 1 BB 7 K (91 pitches, 64 strikes)That's one of the longest outings of the season for a Nats minor leaguer.
We should probably let him make his way slowly and not rush him. 2010 sounds good.
Or Belliard to 2nd, Young at 1st, Casto at 3rd and WMP in left.
Damn that works too. But maybe Casto isn't ready to play the field.
I'd rather Young be the DH.
He lost someone special recently?
I agree, but WHAT IF (and this is purely hypothetical) Alaniz continues to dominate, like he did in Potomac, at Harrisburg? How long can we keep in the minors in that scenario... maybe until next year?
Best thing to do in those situations is jump right back into the pool, IMO.
Definitely. Soon enough, he'll realize there are better positions out there.
Good inning. Clippard is throwing strikes. That's key.Come on offense, don't take the rest of the night off like you did last night after the second inning.
