Defensively, Yezzo committed just one error in 515 chances at first base last season.Blue Hens baseball coach Jim Sherman said that Yezzo certainly had a season to remember this spring. His team’s first baseman was a big reason why UD managed to go 33-23 and earn a berth in the CAA Tournament.“Jimmy had one of the greatest single seasons in the last 20 years of Delaware baseball,” Sherman said. “He’s got outstanding hand-eye [coordination] and can truly center the ball up very well. The ball just jumps off his bat.”
