What’s a WUS?

They should let him go and full rebuild.

Wes Unseld Senior. It didn't matter how badly he performed in management, he always had a job.

We had Ernie too. And now his protoge Tommy. Tommy should have another 12 years or so to go.

'Wizard' is the registered trademark of the Boyle-Midway Company and its successors, for two notable consumer products:

Room deodoriser - and we've witnessed plenty of putrid basketball over the past 40-plus years
Charcoal lighter - and we've seen many seasons and careers go up in flames at this club

'Wizards'...not as inapt a team name after all.

Tommy should do this, though it only provides -1 more wins

Trez to Charlotte per The Athletic. Ish Smith returns, and Vernon Carey.

Aaron Holliday to Phoenix

Porzingas > Bertans / Dinwiddie, maybe not Harrell but Harrell didn't want to be here.

Porzingas is 33 million next year and 36 million the year after

That's still less than they would have paid for Dinwiddie for 2 more years and Bertans for three.

True, but both of them are more likely to actually play

well, be available to play. Bertans is already a bench warmer.

Dinwiddie is a heck of a let down

Wizards found someone to take Bertans and Dinwiddie. Swapping out bad contracts.

Dinwiddie has just been awful. Some evidence early on that he played better without Beal but the last few games have showed that was a mirage. Slow footed and can’t shoot. And didn’t get along with teammates.

I don’t think it was Harrell wanted to be gone but he knew his contract was up and end of year and would be traded. I like Ish. Fun to watch. Too bad they could not trade KCP. He has been a major letdown also.

they still have a logjam at center, but maybe having Gafford and Bryant means that they don't have to play Porzingas a ton. Carey plays center as well.

I'm happy none of the young guys (Rui, Kispert, Deni) got dealt.

PG is going to be interesting with Neto and Ish both being bench guys.

You mean decade. Tommy has like 12 years left to make it happen.

Vernon Carey is an interesting project. Was a major recruit at Duke and freshman of the year in the ACC two years ago.

Consensus is we fleeced Dallas

The team should have been a lot better this year. It didn’t work so Tommy is retooling around the young guys.

Are the young guys any good?

The only reason I can fathom for Dallas doing that trade is Luka demanding it.

I think Rui, Deni, and Kispert are solid. Kuzma is a star.  The idea of Beal playing point is intriguing.

Not really.  Mediocre.  Maybe someone will blossom.

go 1-0 every day and mess up the draft pick.
