Just defending the guy that people on here have been ripping to crap lately. hammonds was calling for him to get sent to AAA.
He got a pair of wet-grass seeing-eye singles that more than likely would have been outs on a normal night. It's nice that he got us the runs we needed and that we won the game, but "whoop de doo" to his "performance." If you ask me, his almost-granny was more impressive than his lucky "hits." Ball would have been gone on a nicer night.
