In his entire professional career, 191 games, Rivera's given up 7 HRs. I like those odds.

I'll be satisfied if he keeps it above the .275 mark for the rest of the season. I'm not gonna ask too much of these young players.
Okay. :)

Somebody said that Bonifacio reminds them of a younger/quicker Guzman, I would have to agree with this.  He goes for the early contact like Guzman and I even remember Sutton talking about how he was getting batting tips from Guzman.  If he was able to get as many hits as Guzman, imagine how much damage he could do.

damn. Bonifacio took a little bit too long with the ball but that was a tough play regardless.

He's hiting .280 with 28 hrs- for a team that wanted to content that isn't really expendable, esp. compared to justin upton

Who would've guessed that he'd do that, though? The Diamondbacks also ended up using Chris Carter (the guy they got for Quentin) as a piece to get Haren. Worked out for both teams.

Rivera is our best groundball reliever with a 1.52 GO/AO (Best on the team is Lannan at 2.12)

There's no way he would have turned that.

Probably not. Would have been close.

Wow, fantastic job by Rivera. Shame Manny didn't let him start the inning.

Great job by Rivera in cleaning up Redding's mess.  Can't ask for much more than what Rivera did, retire all three batters.

Kearns has this way of making close pitches look like definite balls. He confuses the umps.
