Let us pray for Gonzalez's buttocks and his family.

Grabbing Rosary beads now.

Colome looked sick out there guys!

Great win, not the best performance by Tim, but good enough to keep us in the game and another dominating performance by the offense + bullpen!

Our bullpen has literally been the best in baseball since the AS break.

Not hard to believe. Shell and Rivera have been beasts recently.

I hope we deal Redding after this start. He's now 8-6 and he just beat a very good home team in the Rockies at Coors Field.

I appreciate what he's done here but I hope we can trade him to a contender. It would benefit both parties.

Aren't the Rockies one of the teams interested?

Supposedly but I don't know why. Sure they need starters but they are 9 games behind Arizona. They have no chance.

Btw, it's nice to have a true leadoff hitter for once, isn't it?

Damn, its crazy to see how fast Bonifacio is in the replay.  He has an effective stride.  Sutton just called him a "greyhound."

Probably not, but he's up there. The best thing about him is that he's a CONFIDENT base runner. That's huge.

Unless he totally loses it in the 2nd half this year, Redding's probably going to get $5+ million next season. Would that be worth it? I think a realistic choice for his replacement would be Dempster (if he doesn't re-sign w/ the Cubs). He'd probably cost us $9 or $10 million per year, but he'd be a major upgrade. Plus, they're about the same age.

Dude, if we can get Dumpster, we should go for it.

Definitely. I just don't see us outbidding the big dogs for Sheets and Sabathia. We'd actually have a chance of getting Dempster. We'd have to offer more than the other teams, though.

I remember reading that a couple people called him arguably the fastest player in baseball

Bonifacio is 100% the reason why we're on this winning streak. he's injected energy and life into this once lifeless team.

Apparently there is impending news on the DR bonus money investigation. The Yankees have been implicated. No word on what role the Nats played but I'm sure we'll hear of it soon. Apparently the DR kids were forced to kickback some of their bonus loot to team employees and they expect around 20 people, representing several MLB teams, to be implicated.

This was one of the better GD threads I've seen in a while. Less ridiculousness than usual. Good stuff.

Winning cures all.
