Is there seriously no one who could pinch-hit for Gallo the K-man?

A one-run game and Davey's not even trying to win. Literally anyone on the bench would have had a better chance than Gallo or Vargas.

Thank goodness we’re done with the Dodgers for the season.

only guys left were Nunez and Adams. Maybe you try Adams for Gallo, but you don't have another outfielder with Senzel out. Vargas is already in left.

Even Rosario would be a better choice than the insanity of expecting a different result with Gallo.

Also, it's the ninth inning in a one-run game. You try to win. Don't care about the defense. If you lose in the 10th because you only managed to tie it and you had to shuffle fielders around to positions they are not experienced in, you are still in no different a position than you were losing it in the ninth because you didn't even try anything different.

Rosario had been removed for a pinch hitter, Lipscomb. It really was just Adams and Nunez. I suppose Nunez would have pinch run had someone gotten to second.

Rosario is in no way a better choice.   Rosario is easily the worst hitter in baseball

Never mind just the trousers - the all white uniforms have so much glow, the players look like they've been irradiated... :D   ;)
