Suzuki hits it as far as he can and it still falls to the warning track at CBP :lmao:

He had a lot more pop last year with us. .404 SLG last year with Nats, .321 SLG this year.

I'd guess that Suzuki has worn down in the last month or so. I think Flores looked OK last May.

He is being played far too often I agree.  They need to get Solano and Leon more starts to keep Suzuki fresh.  A healthy Ramos would heal all but who knows if/when that will happen.

Way to get it done stammen. Now to not score any runs.

Dan Kolko ‏@masnKolko 1m
Mets already beat the Braves once today & lead ATL 6-1 in the nightcap. #Nats could be wasting a chance to chip 1.5 games off NL East lead

Because this team plays with no sense of urgency.

Why don't we bunt?

We don't have anybody who thinks like Ty Cobb.

Now, Lombardozzi should definitely be bunting.  Of course, he's so slow now he'd have no chance of beating it out.

Another strike taken for strike 3. Gotta swing the bat. That's been a strike all game.

Lombo is really terrible in all honesty.  .224 BA, 0 HRs, 1 SB in 152 ABs. :spaz: He provides nothing.

Note: Ty Cobb told Bob Wolff that he would bunt if a pitcher was humming along. Make the pitcher field the bunt just to throw the pitcher off his rhythm.

Thought he had no pop?  Or is it just the CBP atmosphere.

That's what could happen when you swing the bat.

Also that must feel pretty damn good to get your first career homer off Cliff.

Kobernus hits a homer and the Phils get someone up in the bullpen. Det gives up three hits and hits a batter and then the Nats get someone up in the bullpen.
