you would think that the price could be set with a variety of bottom lines dependent on the range of MASN outcomes. Maybe that's tricky because it reveals the Lerners' bottom line on the MASN negotiation, but if the bottom number is the Orioles offer and the top is the Lerners's ask in the negotiations, you could value the team based on the O's offer with a kicker if the final number is an amount up to the Lerners's ask. Set parameters for how much the kicker could be and under what conditions.
if it Leonsis, he probably wants MASN untangled because putting the nats on Monumental is how he makes money off of the deal. Angelos could easily just be saying no. At some point, MLB needs to step in and fix it. The commissioner has the best interest clause that he can use to force hands if he needs to.
