Because as we all know Scherzer's never allowed more than 3 and this team is an offensive juggernaut.

The Prince gifs are absolutely awesome

I think I would rather have Greinke on his contract than Scherzer

He got lucky the day he signed his guaranteed 210 million dollar contract.

Well, at least Tanner will get a chance to match the clubhouse leader in wins.

Mets pitching is so much better than ours we may as well be in different leagues.  It's going to burn us badly this summer when it's all over in June.

Scherzer is such a fraud... We should have just kept Jordan by giving him 130+M. Ughhhhhhhhh

I wouldn't either for $90MM after years of being treated like Cinderella next to the evil step-sisters.

He was offered 105 million. He took 110 to go to Detroit.

I thought it was 90. Either way, still a low offer for the Nats.

Taylor doesn't work anywhere in the lineup.  At least not a major league lineup.  Ugh.

No, it's really not. Getting 110 pretty much shows it was spot on. Sorry, but when a team drafts you and rehabs you, they should get a bit of a home team discount. Jordan Zimmermann did not want to pitch for Washington DC.
